Three players from the state of Texas were picked in the first round of Thursday's NFL Draft, and all three were from Houston.
It's the second year in a row multiple former Houston high school football stars have gone in the first round. Last year's draft had four guys - CeeDee Lamb, K'Lavon Chaisson, Kenneth Murray and Jordyn Brooks - from Houston went in the first round.

Alabama receiver Jaylen Waddle, who grew up in Alief and attended Episcopal High School, got the Houston party started early when the Dolphins took him with the sixth overall pick.
