Heading into this game, I had a thin bit of confidence that Houston could reach "the next level" and defeat the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Until they actually do that, there will always be a reasonable sense of doubt, because the Texans' franchise peak is limited to beating the Bengals in wildcard games. As it turns out, that will remain the case for the foreseeable future. Houston simply lacks offensive weapons; most notably a franchise signal-caller.
I'm not going to let this bring me down emotionally. The bigger news this week is the release of the latest installment for the Star Wars franchise: "Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
