Texas A&M offensive tackle Germain Ifedi visited the Texans as one of their top 30 visits and he also worked out privately for offensive line coach Mike Devlin in College Station, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
The Westside graduate is regarded as a potential first-round draft pick.
He visited the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. He worked out privately for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and met with the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.
The New York Jets, Panthers, Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Texans and Vikings are all considered potential landing spots for Ifedi.
