The Aggie punter, who toppled many punting records previously held by Shane Lechler, met with the media on Wednesday morning at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Naturally, the conversation drifted to his relationship with one of the greatest punters the game’s ever seen.
“I met up with him for the first time three years ago after one of my games,” Kaser said. “We’ve been friends ever since then.”
Kaser, a product of Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, came to College Station in 2011. He blasted a pair of punts that season in a game against Idaho, and then was redshirted in 2012.
