HOUSTON -- Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien said starting cornerback Kareem Jackson (ankle), wide receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and linebacker Benardrick McKinney (concussion) will not play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Jackson, Shorts, McKinney, outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) and guard Brandon Brooks (toe) did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Safety Quintin Demps and running back Arian Foster were both limited.
O'Brien did not rule out Clowney or Brooks for the game, but said they are day-to-day.
Clowney initially suffered his injury in the first half against the Colts two weeks ago.
