Texans' Brandon Brooks taken to hospital with stomach pains

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Houston Texans starting right guard Brandon Brooks is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills. Brooks was taken to the hospital with severe stomach pains.

He came to the stadium on the team bus Sunday morning in hopes he could overcome his illness. He was sweating and throwing up. The Texans tried to administer fluids at the stadium but he wasn't improving.

Brooks missed a game against the Indianapolis Colts last season with similar symptoms. He was later diagnosed with stomach ulcers.
