Growing up in Georgia, Texans running back Akeem Hunt followed a tradition of attending football camps.
It's how he got to interact with NFL players as a youth football player, meeting quarterback Michael Vick and cornerback Dale Carter.
"Dale Carter, he was a good guy and my family is actually familiar with his family because he went to the school I went to," Hunt said. "Michael Vick, he was a hometown hero in Atlanta."
Now, Hunt is imparting knowledge of his own at the Texans' annual youth football camp at the Houston Methodist Training Center.
"It's very important because it builds confidence," Hunt said.
