Texans' Xavier Su'a-Filo to play Sunday, Braxton Miller sidelined

Texans starting left offensive guard Xavier Su'a-Filo is expected to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, according to coach Bill O'Brien.

Su'a-Filo returned to practice Friday after missing time this week with a groin injury sustained during a loss to the Tennessee Titans.

If Su'a-Filo had been out, the Texans would have likely gone with Greg Mancz and Chad Slade as their starting guards.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Braxton Miller isn't slated to play Sunday due to a concussion.

O'Brien had expressed optimism earlier in the week that Miller was trending toward being able to play.
