The Texans are working out veteran running back C.J. Anderson today, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Anderson recently was cut by the Detroit Lions. Anderson helped the Los Angeles Rams make the Super Bowl last year.
The former 1,000 yard rusher had 488 rushing yards and four touchdowns in just five games including the playoffs.
In two games for Detroit, he had 43 yards on 16 carries.
