Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans brought in free agent LB Audie Cole for a workout on Tuesday.
The Texans could clearly use some inside linebacker help now that Brian Cushing has been suspended 10 games for another PED violation.
Cole, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Vikings back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Vikings before re-signing to a one-year, $760,000 deal a year ago.
Cole signed a two-year, $2.6 million contract with the Jaguars back in March and was set to make base salaries of $1 million over the next two years when he was released by Jacksonville in August.
