Midwestern State safety Marqui Christian worked out for the Texans at their local prospect workout day Saturday, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
Christian won the Cliff Harris Award as nation's top small-college defensive player in 2015.
The Spring graduate ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds and had a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap with a 10-foot broad jump and a 4.27 short shuttle and a 6.85 three-cone drill. He bench pressed 225 pounds 14 times.
Christian was a first-team All-American selection and a three-year starter.
Christian finished his career with 295 tackles.
