THE HUNT IS ON: Cal McNair details search for new Texans coach
The last time the Texans played a home game with the roof open was a 45-21 win over the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 30, 2014. They've played 50 straight home games with the roof closed since then.
In the team's 19-year history, they've actually played 46 home games with the roof open, but have opted to keep it closed in recent years - no matter the weather - to make the stadium louder.
