The Texans have waived inside linebacker Max Bullough and wide receiver Keth Mumphery.
Bullough and Mumphery were backups whose primary roles were on special teams.
Bullough had been suspended for the first four games for violating the NFL's policy against performance enhancing drugs.
The Detroit Free Press reported this week that Mumphery had been banned from the Michigan State campus until 2018 for his role in a sexual misconduct accusation in 2015. No charges were filed, and the case was closed, according to authorities in Michigan.
