ARLINGTON -- For his entire rookie season, Texans cornerback Jermaine Kelly was sidelined with a torn hamstring that required surgery to repair the damage.
Kelly recently injured his quadriceps and was placed on injured reserve. Now, Kelly has been waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Drafted in the seventh round out of San Jose State a year ago, Kelly was never able to stay healthy during his brief tenure with the Texans.
