Texans waive D'Onta Foreman

In his rookie season in 2017, Texans running back D’Onta Foreman rushed for 327 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games before tearing his Achilles tendon.

The Texans have placed running back D'Onta Foreman on waivers, creating a backup spot on the roster behind starter Lamar Miller.

A third-round pick from the University of Texas in 2017, Foreman suffered a torn Achilles tendon during an impressive rookie year, wasn't a factor last season when he tried to return but reported in good physical condition this year.

During camp, it was apparent coach Bill O'Brien wasn't happy with Foreman's progress.
