The Texans upgraded quarterback Deshaun Watson to full participation in practice Thursday.
The second-year passer was limited Wednesday with a right shoulder injury, but appeared to throw with no visible discomfort both days.
Watson has passed for 3,031 yards and 21 touchdowns with nine interceptions.
He has been getting healthier in recent weeks after dealing with rib and lung injuries earlier this season.
Watson has looked more comfortable and inclined to run when the opportunity has been there, a byproduct of his improved health.
“I think it’s probably both," Texans quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan said.
