FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Texans rookie kickoff returner Tyler Ervin was ruled out of the game with a concussion Saturday night at Gillette Stadium.
Ervin suffered the injury during the second quarter of the Texans' AFC divisional-round playoff game against the New England Patriots.
Ervin recorded a tackle on Patriots kick returner Dion Lewis on a fumble-causing hit by linebacker Akeem Dent that was recovered by safety Eddie Pleasant.
It set up a touchdown by tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz.
