Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are hosting free agent S Jaiquawn Jarrett for a tryout during their mandatory minicamp.
Jarrett, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2011. He lasted just over a year in Philadelphia before he was waived at the start of the 2012 season. The Jets later signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end of the season.
New York re-signed Jarrett to a restricted contract worth $1.542 million back in 2015, but he wound up being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
