The Texans auditioned five tight ends Friday, including former Cleveland Brown Gary Barnidge and former Dallas Cowboy and Kansas City Chief Gavin Escobar, according to sources not authorized to speak publicly.
The Texans also tried out former New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens tight end Larry Donnell, former Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills tight end MyCole Pruitt and former Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers tight end David Johnson.
The Texans worked out wide receivers Cobi Hamilton (Steelers) and Jordan Leslie (Tomball), former Kansas City Chiefs and Ravens offensive tackle Jah Reid and former New Orleans Saints quarterback Garrett Grayson.
