Texans trade former first-round pick, continue offensive line overhaul

The Houston Texans made the blockbuster trade of the offseason Monday when they dealt five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders for a collection of draft picks. Houston's offensive-line overhaul continued Tuesday.

Houston traded 2022 first-round pick Kenyon Green to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, per multiple reports. The Texans will send Philadelphia a 2026 fifth-round pick, while the Eagles will send Houston a 2026 sixth-rounder. Tuesday's trade marks the third transaction for Houston regarding its offensive line this offseason, with the trades of Tunsil and Green following the release of guard Shaq Mason before free agency.
