The Texans, in a move intended to bolster a position riddled by injuries, have acquired cornerback Gareon Conley by sending a 2020 third-round draft pick to the Oakland Raiders, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Conley is a former Raiders first-round draft pick from Ohio State.
The Texans acquired a third-round pick from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Pro Bowl outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney. The Texans will send another third-round pick to the Cleveland Browns if running back Duke Johnson is active for 10 games.
A two-year starter, Conley has recorded 23 tackles with one interception this season.
