When the Texans host San Francisco at NRG Stadium on Sunday, quarterback Tom Savage hopes to show he's capable of a turnover-free game for the first time this season.
Two times in losses to Indianapolis and Tennessee Savage has committed one turnover. In his other four starts, he's been guilty of multiple turnovers.
"I'm being labeled as a fumbler and a turnover machine, which I know I'm not," Savage said this week. "It comes down to doing it and then just proving to yourself you're not a turnover guy."
In the loss to the Titans, Savage set career highs with 31-of-49 for 365 yards and a touchdown.
