The Houston Texans all of a sudden need some help at the wide receiver position with Will Fuller’s status for next Monday night’s game uncertain and Chris Thompson now banged up.
The Texans are expected to sign wide receiver Cobi Hamilton from their practice squad to their 53-man roster, according to Patrick Starr of State of the Texans.
The 27 year-old Hamilton was selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals out of the University of Arkansas. He’s also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
