Texans veteran safety Tashaun Gipson basically called his shot days before picking off Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes last Sunday.
Days before kickoff, Gipson referenced how he intercepted Mahomes for the first time last season and said it could happen again.
And that scenario unfolded during a 31-24 win as Gipson intercepted a pass, Mahomes' first of the season, for the second consecutive week after returning an interception 79 yards for a touchdown the previous week against the Atlanta Falcons.
"It's just a blessing of being in the right place and the right time and film study," Gipson said.
