For a Houston morning in September, it was a downright delightful day for tailgating outside NRG Stadium with temperatures not even cracking 90 degrees before fans headed inside to watch the Texans home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As usual, the streets around the stadium smelled like barbecue as fans gathered around the grills and tossed footballs in the parking lots, while all kinds of music - from Texas country to Houston hip hop - blasted from nearby speakers.
The Texans hit the road next week before returning home to play the Panthers on Sept. 29.
