Another Sunday, another loss, another mostly anemic, maddeningly inconsistent performance by embattled Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler.
Osweiler did, however, direct a late six-play, 78-yard scoring drive that he finished with a pretty 44-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins following the two-minute warning. But Nick Novak's missed extra point followed by a failed onside kick assured the staggering Texans of their second consecutive 21-13 defeat.
And, with a third defeat in a row, they fell to 6-6 and into a tie for first place in the AFC South with the Tennessee Titans, who were off Sunday. The Texans' 0-3 run is their first since early in O'Brien's tenure.
