Texans' strength coach Luke Richesson resigns

Texans strength and conditioning coach Luke Richesson was only with the team for one season.

Now, he has resigned to return to Denver to be with his family in Denver. It is unclear what his next job will be.

Richesson is a former Denver Broncos strength and conditioning coach who had drawn heavy praise for revamping the Texans' workout regimen.

Players characterized his program as one that developed the entire body and prevented or helped them recover from injuries, and coach Bill O'Brien credited him repeatedly for several advancements in the team's health and fitness.
