The Houston Texans continue to dole out the big bucks for their top defensive stars.
On Monday, the Texans' brass inked a three-year, $90 million extension for Derek Stingley Jr., locking up arguably the best cornerback in the league until 2029. On Wednesday, Houston re-committed themselves to another defensive stalwart, as Danielle Hunter agreed to a one-year, $36.5 million extension through 2026 that will make him the NFL's second-highest-paid defensive end. NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero first reported the deal.
