The Texans have signed veteran former Cleveland Browns cornerback Marcus Burley to a two-year contract, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Burley (5-10, 190 pounds) gives the Texans an experienced reserve cornerback.
Burley has run the 40-yard dash in 4.35 to 4.4 seconds.
A former undrafted free agent from Delaware, Burley has previous stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks.
Burley was released by the Browns this week.
Burley was traded to the Seahawks on 2014 for a sixth-round draft pick in 2014.
He has recorded 61 career tackles, two sacks, eight passes defended and two interceptions in four NFL seasons.
