Murphy was drafted this week by the DC Defenders of the XFL.
He was a four-year starter at Stanford and a second-team All-Pac-12 selection. He was drafted by the Packers in the sixth round.

Murphy started for the Packers in 2017 when Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari were injured before being placed on injured reserve each of the next two seasons.
