The Houston Texans have agreed to terms on a contract extension for S Andre Hal on Thursday, according to Mark Berman.
Hal, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Texans back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.28 million contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Hal appeared in 15 games for the Texans and recorded 48 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No.
