The Texans signed rookie Jordan Ta'amu, an undrafted free agent from Mississippi who attended their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. They cut center D.J. Coker.
Ta'amu passed for 3,918 yards and 19 touchdowns last season, rushing for six scores.
