As expected now that the team has more than three days to prepare for a game, the Texans are doing their best with what little options they have to improve the roster. With the ongoing Duane Brown holdout and the stench of Kendall Lamm’s performance still wafting over the city, the Texans are bringing in another body.
Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports the Texans have signed free agent offensive tackle Jah Reid.
Reid is 29 years old and played his first four seasons with the Ravens before spending the last two with the Chiefs.
The Texans also added to their practice squad with the additions of TE Mycole Pruitt and WR Cobi Hamilton.
