Texans sign former Clemson WR Germone Hopper

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. -- The influx of Clemson football players onto the Texans' roster continued Sunday with the signing of former Tigers wide receiver Germone Hopper, according to his agent, Adam Seifer of Premier Athlete Advisors.

Hopper worked out for the Texans a week ago.

The Texans have had some injuries at wide receiver, including Will Fuller breaking his collarbone and Braxton Miller not practicing since a preseason loss to the Carolina Panthers. Miller's injury isn't regarded as serious, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.

Hopper left the Clemson program following the 2014 season for personal reasons.
