NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Texans shifted veteran defensive back Kareem Jackson back to cornerback from safety.

With Kevin Johnson on injured reserve with a concussion, the Texans needed reinforcements at cornerback.

Rookie Justin Reid is starting at safety opposite Tyrann Mathieu.

Johnathan Joseph started at cornerback.

With Jadeveon Clowney out with back and elbow injuries, Brennan Scarlett started at outside linebacker.
