Punter Shane Lechler had one of the best seasons of his 17-year career.
Lechler, 40, is expected to sign another one-year contract to remain with the Texans after posting a 47.5-yard gross and a 40.1-yard net.
Lechler had a career-low three touchbacks. He put 30 punts inside the 20 – only the fourth time he's had as many as 30.
Lechler was happy with the Texans winning the AFC South and advancing into the divisional round of the playoffs.
"Looking forward to next year," he said. "Hopefully, they'll have me back. I'm ready to go.
