Texans reserve linebackers Shakeel Rashad and Eric Lee are participating in an NFL Players Association externship, the fourth year of the program.
Lee and Rashad are spending their externship with Under Armour. The two former undrafted free agents were on the Texans' practice squad during their rookie season and were signed after the season to the AFC South champions' offseason roster.
Forty-one NFL players are taking part in a three-week program at 15 companies across the country after 86 applied for positions. The program involves spending time with various business and organizations to gain practical experience and networking opportunities to prepare for life after football.
