The Texans selected running back Tyler Ervin (5-10, 192) from San Jose State in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. Houston has selected four offensive players through all four rounds this year.

The Texans also moved up in the first and second rounds, adding two players out of Notre Dame. Houston drafted wide receiver Will Fuller with the No. 21 overall pick and center Nick Martin 50th overall. The Texans selected wide receiver Braxton Miller in the third round.
