HOUSTON -- Drops are a subjective statistic, much in the same way quarterback hurries are. Two people can watch the same incomplete pass and disagree about whether or not the receiver dropped the pass.
There's no denying, though, that the Houston Texans' tight ends, receivers and running backs have been dropping a lot of passes.
"We don’t ever want a ball on the ground," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "We want the guys to catch everything, but like I said, we’ve got really good receivers who have made some great catches for us this year and I just believe in these guys and they’ll catch the ball.
