Texans secondary coach John Butler confident in system

During a season where the Texans finished with the top-ranked defense in the NFL, they remained a difficult team to complete passes against.

The AFC South champions didn't have any defensive backs named to the Pro Bowl. Veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph is the last defensive back on the Texans' roster to be named to the annual all-star game, and his last appearance was in 2012.

The Texans finished second overall in pass defense, though, as they allowed just 201.6 passing yards per game. The Denver Broncos, who feature a pair of Pro Bowl corners in Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.
