Texans safety Rahim Moore had 'disappointing season'

INDIANAPOLIS - The days of veteran safety Rahim Moore on the Texans' roster are regarded as numbered.

The Texans are expected to cut ties with Moore one year after signing him to a three-year, $12 million contract to be their starting free safety.

Moore was benched after seven games and six starts when he struggled mightily in coverage, tackling and pursuit angles. The former Denver Broncos starter and UCLA standout finished the season with just 16 tackles and one interception and was inactive for the remainder of the season after a rough game against the Miami Dolphins.
