When the Texans lost cornerbacks Kevin Johnson and Johnathan Joseph to injuries against the Cincinnati Bengals, they had to significantly adjust their personnel groupings.
That meant inserting newly signed cornerback Marcus Burley into the game along with shifting veteran safety Eddie Pleasant to cornerback.
Pleasant had never played the position before except in practice.
Both defensive backs held up well during the 13-9 win. Pleasant had three tackles and one pass defensed.
"It's different," Pleasant said. "I messed around with it a little bit in practice. DB is DB. Run, cover and tackle is our motto.
