Known for haunting the Texans' weight room, Texans free safety Andre Hal is one of the most dedicated players on the roster.

The former seventh-round draft pick was rewarded with a three-year, $15 million contract prior to the season.

And Hal won the Texans' annual Workhorse award for his performance and attendance in workouts under the supervision of strength and conditioning coach Craig Fitzgerald. Hal is up to 195 pounds after playing last season at roughly 190 pounds and says he can now bench press 345 pounds twice.

"I was here working out all the time," Hal said.
