GREEN BAY, Wis. - Texans starting free safety Andre Hal is active for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field after being sidelined all week with an illness.
Hal didn't practice back in Houston, but coach Bill O'Brien indicated that he was starting to feel better and he was hopeful about his status.
This is a positive development for the Texans' defense against Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Texans' defense is already shorthanded with starting defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and outside linebacker John Simon sidelined with injuries. Clowney didn't make the trip due to elbow and wrist injuries.
