For 26-year-old Texans rookie wide receiver Wendall Williams, his NFL debut represented a huge moment.
A former truck driver from Syracuse, N.Y., who bounced around at various junior colleges before becoming an NAIA football and track star at the University of the Cumberlands, Williams was promoted from the Texans' practice squad last week.
Williams was successful in his first career game during the Texans' 21-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching two passes for 34 yards and returning four punts for 38 yards as he averaged 9.5 yards per return with a long return of 25 yards.
