After missing the past two games with a strained hamstring, Texans rookie tight end Stephen Anderson is set to return Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts.
"I'm on target," Anderson said. "Everything is on schedule."
The Texans could use the athletic undrafted rookie from Cal since backup tight end Ryan Griffin is under the NFL concussion testing protocol.
"Yeah, I saw that," Anderson said. "I'm just excited to get back. I felt like I let my team down. Just excited to get back and make some plays."
Anderson has five receptions for 40 yards and could provide a downfield threat working in tandem with wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.
