Texans rookie Stephen Anderson overcomes case of nerves

Texans rookie tight end Stephen Anderson acknowledged feeling a tad nervous heading into his first NFL game that actually counts.

And the undrafted free agent overcame any reservations by delivering a strong performance by catching all three passes thrown to him for 25 yards Sunday during a 23-14 win over the Chicago Bears.

"I think these rookies, any time they're playing in their first regular-season game, it's not easy," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "There's some hyperventilation that goes on in the beginning of these games, so I don't think it's the easiest thing in the world.
