Texans rookie cornerback Lonnie Johnson Jr. feared the worst when he initially hurt his ankle against the Baltimore Ravens.
Johnson got hurt on a Lamar Jackson scramble when Texans defensive lineman Brandon Dunn accidentally fell on top of him.
Johnson was relieved to learn it wasn't a long-term setback, returning to practice this week on a limited basis.
Out against the Indianapolis Colts, the imposing second-round draft pick from Kentucky is looking forward to a Sunday night game against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
"At first, I thought it was real bad," Johnson said.
