Texans rookie strong safety K.J. Dillon injured his knee Sunday night during an overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Dillon immediately grabbed his knee and was helped off the field by trainers.
The injury is believed to be serious.
After the game, the fifth-round draft pick from West Virginia was on crutches and went to get a magnetic resonance imaging exam on his knee.
Dillon was backing up strong safety Corey Moore and playing on special teams.
He finished the game with one tackle on special teams.
