When Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is looking to throw in the red zone, he has an inviting target in rookie tight end Jordan Thomas.
The 6-5, 280-pound sixth-round draft pick from Mississippi State has caught three touchdown passes over the past two games.
"He's come in every day with a plan to try to get better," Texans tight ends coach Tim Kelly said. "He works tirelessly on it. He's done a really good job of doing what we're asking him to do.
"Really, the last couple of weeks, the opportunities have come his way and he's been able to make the most of them.
